Marketing Plan
Beginning now and moving into August we are finalizing details for the 2009 Reptile Convention. As such we wanted briefly discuss the marketing plan for 2009 date.
1. Professionally designed posters will be distributed at the local high schools
2. Discounted tickets will be sold throughout the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati regions
3. We are advertising in several local newspapers as well as regional college papers
4. Since we are a high school we are ensured a decent amount of local mediat attention
5. Six high school bands in the area will be selling tickets.
6. Work with local conservations and pet organizations to promote the event
7. Find a corporate sponsor
This year we are looking at adding art to the show as well as increasing the number of professional speakers at the event. Last year our attendance broke 1000. With knowledge and understanding of an event and target market groups we are looking to increase our attendance to 4000 this year. Our new building is more conducive and accommodating and we are currently looking at using both of our gyms at the school.
